About the Network
The Network coordinates the UK hypersonics community around shared priorities: flight‑relevant experiments, diagnostics, infrastructure and skills. It provides a neutral forum to align research, facilities and industrial needs and to help partners form competitive collaborations.
Aims:
- Foster collaboration across academia, industry and government.
- Identify priority themes and coordinate SIGs and working groups.
- Support access to facilities, good practice and standardisation.
- Develop people and skills through forums, short courses and ECR activities.
- Share information and resources across the community.
People and governance:

- Research & Innovation Associate (RIA): Dr Laurent Le Page - University of Oxford
